OMG OMG OMG!!!!! Duuuuuudes!!

First off, a development on the very ill !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . After diag, it has been determined that the transmission is indeed blown up internally. The plan is now to get it back home and i’ll start fixing my baby little by little whenever I can. It will be a very looooooooong time but I will NOT give up on her.

For the time being, I didn’t have a vehicle. I’m very grateful for my family’s help getting rides to work and home. Also, i’m greatful for my wife treating me so good while working overtime everyday and weekend. But it has all payed off.

...vehicle I’ve ever owned. It’s awesome. I pretty much know every bolt and washer on this thing, but I still I dig it a lot! It’s the 240 of our time especially in 2.5 T. It has some little random things it needs in its 120K mile body. Little trim stuff that I can easily replace and is super cheap here at work.

So yes, this is my new vehicle! Cool right?....

This car is 1,000,000% OPPOsite of the XC90. It drives INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Auto trans be damned, this thing is soooo badass!! It has insanely good driving dynamics! It also has brand new Continental tires ready for ALL THE HOONING!!!!!!!!

And they both lived happily ever after :]

That's awesome! I know lots about the N52 inline 6 in that Z4. Reliable engine! Watch for leaks, valve cover gaskets are no fun. Is the Volvo easy to maintain? My brother could use a winter ride..

As a Volvo Master Tech, the Volvo should be the easiest to keep up with. Though, I have owned 4 BMW in the past so it’s should be too difficult, especially with a shop full of thing at my disposal whenever I need it :]

Lol thanks Crimson :] The Z4 is just a base 180hp 2.5 and let me tell ya, the thing can surprise you. At 2900lbs, it gets up just fine. The chassis is near perfection. Mine has a fresh set of Continental tires. Looks have really stood the test of time for sure. I can only imagine how incredible a Z4 ///M drives. Plus, prices are awesome on these right now!!!

Looks like you have the engine that came after mine, I’ve got the 2.5 (in an E46 2000 323) and I know exactly what you mean. As my first car a ~7 second 0-60 is awesome and it always feels so good to rev it through 1st and 2nd. Hate to brag but it is a manual too lol. Does the auto at least have a “sport setting” or something? I’m curious as to how it feels.

Sport mode is awesome! Throttle is noticeably sharper, gears are optimized I feel perfectly for like an autocross session, and the adaptive electro/hydro steering becomes even tighter. either way, a complete opposite of both the Audi and El Moose.
